Several streets in the Downtown area are shut down in preparation and during the three-day-long event. LONG BEACH, CA — The 2023 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach officially begins Friday and with that comes several street closures in the Downtown area. Closures started on Wednesday and will last until 5 p.m. on Monday, April 17 officials said. Street closures throughout the week include: Starting Wednesday, April 12 4 a.m. Side streets off Shoreline Drive and Seaside Way leading into the racecourse are closed.
